AutoPark Kincardine offers extra financial protection when you purchase one of our used vehicles to help give you greater peace of mind.
“Travel with peace of mind. Protect your investment with an Insurance Plan.”
We realize that when buying a used vehicle, people will worry about potential future breakdowns and costly repairs. It’s just the nature of used cars, even if you have a complete and clear history for it. That’s why we offer Protection Plan Coverage to help give you peace of mind — our plans cover a wide variety of coverage for mechanical repairs.
All cars, trucks, SUVs and vans are built with a variety of unique parts and materials, so when you have to pay to replace or repair them it can be expensive. In fact, the average cost of repairs increases at an annual rate of 5% the older a vehicle gets, so it can turn into quite a financial burden.
That’s why we offer protection plans to our customers that they can customize to help eliminate whatever their worries might be. You can really choose the plan that you think is best for you to avoid costly repairs.
Canada & United States Coverage
The FCPP will cover the cost to repair your vehicle anywhere in Canada and the Continental United States.
The FCPP uses Direct Response to help your claims get processed faster and more efficiently, where the repair costs are paid directly to the repair shop for authorized services. This helps you avoid having to pay for the repairs initially and wait for reimbursement.
If you decide to sell the vehicle you had when you purchased one of our protection plans, the coverage can be fully transferable to the next owner for the remaining length of the Policy/Contract that was purchased. The Policy/Contract cannot be transferred if the title of the vehicle passes through an entity other than the subsequent buyer or your vehicle is sold/traded into a dealership, leasing agency, or entity in the business of selling vehicles.
Optional Coverage Available on Qualifying Plans
Once you choose and pay the Guarantee Price Rebate (GPR) Option Fee on your chosen plan, or a plan with Experience Based Refund (EBR), there is a cash rebate that you can claim. You can claim it once the Total Policy/Contract has ended. The amount of cash rebate you receive is determined by the initial amount you paid for the plan to a maximum of $2,000. The criteria for GPR/EBR Claims include:
- Original Plan holder must still be registered owner of vehicle.
- No mechanical or other benefit claims were made during the entire term.
- GPR/EBR Claim must be received in the allotted time frame.
- Deductible applies to maximum claim amount.
Additional Benefits Included in All Levels of Coverage:
If the vehicle for which you purchase a protection plan has a breakdown that is covered, you will be reimbursed for any expenses related to renting a temporary replacement vehicle or paying for taxi service/public transportation. *
If your vehicle for which you purchase a protection plan has a breakdown that is covered while you are 160 km or more from your home, you will be reimbursed for the cost of keeping the vehicle overnight in a repair facility as well as any motel and restaurant expenses you incur while waiting for the vehicle to be repaired.
